“The hotel is beautiful. We stayed in a courtyard apartment for 2 nights and it was really special. Staff were very helpful, ensuring that our stay was comfortable in every way. The Christmas tree in the reception was stunning too. Restaurant menu was extensive and food was fantastic. Will definitely recommend to all looking for a relaxing, historic and peaceful place to rest.”
“First visit, Nipped in for a cuppa and cake but unfortunately stopped doing food by this time, but didnt bother us. Beautiful building - The hotel was very quite, we were the only ones there! Friendly lady at reception who greeted us and made our drinks. Lots of places to walk our dog who was also very welcome - Nice touch with a dog bowl for him. Would recommend and would return.”
“This Place has immense character! The architecture was absolutely stunning. The rooms were clean the staff was great. The grounds were beautiful and there were lots of trails and ponds and wildlife to see. The dining was so good we ended up eating and drinking there for our entire stay instead of venturing out. Definitely recommend!”
“My partner and I have just been for Christmas lunch. The setting and decor was welcoming and ambient. From arrival the staff were friendly and efficient. The lunch was wonderful, portion size was generous and everything tasted fresh and cooked to perfection. I had the vegetarian option which was so tasty and my partner had the lamb which he said was succulent and tasty. I’d like to give a special mention to Chloé who managed to fit us in at short notice and was there to welcome us and was very warm and friendly as were all the lovely staff. We thoroughly enjoyed our afternoon and wish everyone all the best in the future. We will definitely be back when you open again.”
